Deplorable Environment - Never Rent From Carleton East

In the early spring 2005 the large community trash receptacles were replaced with significantly smaller lighter weight receptacles. These receptacles do not provide sufficient mean to handle the volume of trash generated by the tenants of Carleton East. This has resulted in the receptacles being over filled several times a week and trash all over the ground near and around the receptacles. This provides a hazard because it attracts animals of the worst type, RATS. The appearance of the community is significantly effected because there is now garbage in the parking lot and suburbery throughout the community. The new receptacles are lighter in weight therefore they are easily moved. I have seen receptacles turned around backwards or to the side and out in the pathway of parking lot traffic.
Another on going issue in the community is frequent interruptions in water service. It seems that at least twice a month the water in my building has to be shut off for some type of repair. The frequency of the interruptions along with the announce of the pipes being full of air and the water being full of mud for several hours once service is resumed. I am not an unreasonable person but the frequency of the water interruptions is beyond what would be considered normal or routine maintenance.
I have also made a multitude of request regarding the laundry room in my building. Every time the washing machines are used the floor is flooded. Because of this water the floor is very hazardous to walk on, not just in terms of potentially falling and injuring yourself but also in terms of electric shook. The water covers more than 75% of the laundry room floor and goes under the dryers, which may not be grounded as a washer is. I assume that the drain is clogged and has been clogged since the day I moved into the building. This is a problem that has never been resolved.
