Carleton East told us that our application was disapproved because my husband had a flaw on his credit and that disapproved all 3 of our applications. When we were filling out the application for a 3 bedroom apartment there was so much drama with the leasing agent, Crystal Blaine. She was extremely rude, nasty, unprofessional and down right stupid. She tried to treat us like morons by saying that the 3 of us did not qualify financially for an apartment because my son and I changed jobs (for more money) this summer. My salary alone is 60,000 , my husband's varies because he is an independent contractor (between 50,000-70,000) and my son's is 46,500 bonuses. My son got up during the application process and went outside to cool off because Crystal talked to his with total disrespect and I taught him to respect others even when they don't respect you. He returned and apologized but she refused to accept his apology. We have applied and been approved by 3 other rental companies and was told we had excellent credit and an outstanding rental history but the apartments were not up to our standards so we will continue to look. These people decided to disapprove our application because we would not roll over and kiss their butts. We asked the usual questions because this is a tiresome process, going to complex after complex and management not being honest with you. I emailed Bluestone Management Services and they refuse to get back me. Left messages for Lisa Swearinger, the manager who will not call me back. They know what they did is wrong and I'm not going to just accept this lie. I'd appreciate any assistance to remedy this unfair situation. Thank you kindly. Seeking justice!

I had a bad experience with the leasing agent about 3 yrs ago, who was an older woman who repeatedly lied to me and tried to steal my deposit on an apartment that wasn't even available for me to move into. Yes the people in the office are awful and disrespectful. I repeatedly made phone calls wrote letters to the managment and evently got my deposit back after about 3 months. I really like the layout of the apartments but the rental office makes you turn away and run because of their lack of professionalism and disrespect.

Since this nightmare, we have moved into a wonderful apartment in Forestville. When we were approved we received a month's free rent that we did'nt know about. (God's blessing) It is extremely clean, maintained, quiet and office staff and maintenance are professionals. This was the Lord's way of keeping us away from that awful place and preparing us for better things. In the end - justice will always prevail. We all have to answer for our actions. sweetknees, where in Forestville did you find this wonderful apartment? What is the name of it? Share because so many of us are left out in the cold having to deal with the BS of these trifling apartment employees. We are their customers and without us they would have no business nor money, so please share. Thank you.

There's no great apartment complex in Forestville. Wait til it get's warm outside... you'll be ducking bullets. I know because we moved from Forestville for that very reason.
