I lived in Carelton East for two years. I've read some of the reviews and have a few things to say....One, I never have a problem with parking. My visitors always have decent parking as well, however, I think this depends on where in the complex you live. Yes, there are bugs, though I have never seen a roach or mouse. They do have alot of outside bugs, but then, I lived on the first floor. I never really had to deal with the rental office, so I really don't know how they are. The kitchen's could be upgraded though. The cabinets are outdated. BUT, the apt. is spacious, and I love the sunken living room, and it's decently priced. I really the Greenbelt/Lanham area as well. All in all, it's good. For all of those complaining, it's an apartment for crying out loud in PG county!!! It's not gonna be perfect. If that's what you want, buy a house!! Move anywhere else, and you'll have the same problems, if not worse!!

Thanks for your note. How is the parking lot? Is there always people outside late night or just haing out? How you heard of anyone breaking or stolen someone car? Thanks

Cars are stolen a lot in PG County. Before we moved here my neighbors van was stolen. I've never had any problems w/ theft. The police are very strict in this complex and they don't allow loitering. If you see someone loitering, call the office and the answering service will call 911 and security.
