I've been living here for nearly one year. I have an aunt who's lived here for more than 10 years and a cousin who's been here for about 5. We all have had very little problems with Carleton East.

PROS:
I've never had a problem with maintenance. I've never had a problem with roaches.
One time my heat went out at midnight, I called the emergency number and someone was at my door within 30 minutes.
I always get a great parking space, my laundry room flooded once, I called the office and the problem was fixed the same day.
My parking lot is well lit.
My children are able to play outside on the playground without having to smell weed smoke in the process.
We have police on the premises who come out when called and also patrol regularly... most of the time they are in plain clothes.
The rent is reasonable and my apartment 2 BR w/ Den is spacious.
We won't be moving until we're ready to purchase a home.
Each time I've dealt with the rental office, I've been greeted in a courteous manner.

CONS:
The kitchen is old - but i've never had a problem with my appliances.
The playground could use some updating.
