Carleton East is above average compared to some other apts in PG County. There are no roaches in my building, but there are regular bugs outside. There is no loitering allowed on the property. They have a crime watch program and the police that live on the property are REALLY responsive. Parking is adequate..no problems even for a lot of visitors. I have been there almost 2 years and I know of only one car that has been stolen. Kitchens could be updated yes, but these apts are very spacious. For the price, you CAN NOT FIND another apt of these sizes at these prices. The staff has always been attentive and professional toward me. I assume if you get nasty with them, they have the right to be that way to you. Maintenance is adequate most of the time.
