When I first moved to Carelton East I was told that they were going to remodel the bathrooms, well 10 years later they still haven't. I have never used the dishwasher because it looks very old and dirty. Kitchen cabinets are falling apart. All of the appliances are old and outdated. The tile that is in the kitchen and foyer area gets dirty very easily and is hard to get clean. I have had a refridgerator to go out and they replaced it with one that looked worse than the one I had. My kitchen caught on fire and the stove was replaced with one that was pulled from another apartment. Oh and last but not least THE HEATING AND AIR CONDITION IS HORRIBLE. IT NEVER GETS COOLER THAN 80 IN MY APARTMENT IN THE SUMMER NO MATTER WHAT I HAVE THE THERMASTAT SET TO AND IT FREEZES IN THE WINTER. IF YOU SUFFER FROM ANY TYPE OF ALLERGIES YOU MAY WANT TO REQUEST THE AIR DUCTS BE CLEANED. WHEN I FIRST MOVED TO CARELTON EAST I WAS PAYNG $820 I NOW PAY $1250. I guess you say with all of the problems why do I continue to stay. I love the area of PG county and overall the complex is nice they just need to remodel.

It is not amazing that one will stay stationary in one location for a long period of time. One must take into consideration location, price dispite of the negative in the community or apt.
