These apartments are really not all that the way that management acts like they are. If you have children, then this is DEFINITELY not the place for you at all. The kids are not allowed to do anything in the complex without management sending home threatening notices. This is a major problem. However, if you are the children of management, then you can run on the grass, play ball anywhere in the complex, or ride your bike on the grass or anywhere else on the property. Its ok for management's kids to do what they want, but if your child does not go straight home off of the school bus, without socializing to their friends, then you will get a letter sent home threatening to evict you. Are kids not to be kids even if they're not harming anyone' This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!
And the parking situation is HORRIBLE! If your guest are not out before 10:00 pm, they will get towed!!!! I've actually seen the tow man around there way before 10:00 pm looking for anyone to tow. I understand that they trying to accomodate the tenants, but what if you have unexpected guest' If you don't have obtain a temporary parking pass with the persons year, make, model and tag number of their car, then you are just out of luck! It wouldn't be that bad if you were able to get blank parking passes for any unexpected guests that my arrive. I guess your guests are just out of luck, unless they want to park on another property and walk to your house.
Also, the apartments are roach infested! At first, I didn't have a problem with roaches. But soon, it became an embarassing problem! No matter how many times you call for an exterminator, the problem still exists.
The only good thing about living at Forest Lake Apartments was moving out!

I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 10 YEARS AND WHAT YOU FAIL TO MENTION IS THAT MANAGEMENT'S CHILDREN ARE OUT PICKING UP TRASH OFF THE PROPERTY, CLEANING SNOW FROM CARS FOR TENANTS AND HELPING THE OLDER TENANTS WITH THEIR GROCERIES OR OTHER ERRANDS. WHICH IS MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR THE CHILDREN WHO JUST WANT TO BE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. A SURE SIGN OF WHAT THE PARENTS ARE LIKE AND NOT WHAT WE WANT HERE. WITHOUT RULES AND RESTRICTIONS WE WOULD HAVE MORE COMPLAINTS.

The names in the responses tell the truth about the matter. White Trash!! No tenants in their right minds would ask the kids of the resident manager for help!!! All children are not disrespectful!!! But white trash is always white trash.
