Im looking for an affordable apt. in the greenbelt/lanham area and this seemed perfect. Are there really mice and roaches cuz if so I can't do it. Can somebody please let me there honest opinion. People are rude everywhere so I really don't care about management but I don't want to b living with Mickey.

Yes this place is a great place to call home. As for mice and ---- roaches. Anywhere you go in VA you will found that some apartments have roaches. Not all have them though it is just a fact of living in the south! I can honestly tell you that when I worked there we only had on apartment that had them and it was stopped and treated ASAP. They have an insect man that comes EVERY THURSDAY! Let???s face it half of the Restaurants in VA have them more then Forest Lake Mice I use to live there and work there and I lived on the first floor and I never saw one mouse. I am not sure how there could be to many bc the state of Virginia seems to have lots of cats (outside ones) How couldn't you want to live there it is the most peace full and Beautiful and just different property you can find in Newport News. I would love to call Forest Lake my home any day.
