I'm not a resident of this community but I know it well and think of it often. I was directly involved in the resurrection and renovation of this community in 1989 through 1994.

Now I ain't saying I was perfect or that I got it all right but I am certain that the group of wonderful residents, management folks, ownership and local officials came together in a way that made a real impact on this once troubled property.

I've gone on to other things over the last ten years but the most rewarding time of my career was when I was at Glenarden.

It hurts to read the comments I see here and wish there was something I could do to change this situation.

To those who recall me, I miss you very much.

Yea lady thats right you been gone for years you know... i went to CHFS and i'll say have of 2005 is dead not saying that's its the apts fault just from where they live and you know i think it is very sad that innocent children loose there life over some bull... but as far as the apts they are some ---- your everyday bug called a roach then you got slugs, water bugs in the damn building floods that the rental office dont give a damn about... but want you fix what the fu*k they caused and on top of that the damn neighborhood has Prince Georges County Police sitting right there in front of of your building and n*ggaz are still smoking weed/drinking liqour/ beer on you fron n*ggaz in my building getting there ass whip by there babies mother and stab and burned by iron and ----.... to make a long story short if you want peace of mind when you come home from a long/hard of work or if you want child not to get jumped or get his shoes taken, and last but not lease or hanging with the wrong crowd then stay the FU*K AWAY FROM GLENARDEN OR SHOULD I SAY BRIGHTSEAT RD RD RD!
