You gotta be careful when you pay rent; It happened that I paid my rent and few months later I received a notice. They claimed that I hadn't paid my rent in two months. I tried convincing them that I did but without my receipt (I misplaced) I showed them a copy of the money order. I finally forced them to check their books and they saw the copy of the receipts yet they claimed "we can't do anything wothout the original" I even confronted the lady whom i dealt with and she denied it in my face. It wasn't until I decided to call an attorney that they "somehow found the money" This thing has been stuck in my credit history and I am having a hard time clearing it-beware!
