I moved in December so its been eight months that I lived at Glendale. I will say that the area is quiet and I have not had any problems with load noises or neighbors. If you came home after eight pm it was very hard to find a parking spot close to your building. However, they just started parking permits but I feel there are not enough visitor spaces but hopefully they will get that staight since it just began on Monday. The problems that I had here have been various and annoying. Lets start with my car was towed the first day I moved in because my tags were expired for a week. So make sure your tags are right! Then everytime I walked passed my neighnbors apt I spelt an awful smell so I called to report it they said its vacant I said well something is dead in there it stinks. It took them three weeks to check on the smell. That same month a police officer knocked on more door looking for the resident that lived there previously about a robbery. Next they did not do my leasing contract right so I had to do it all over again in January so it would be legal. Since they are doing renervations they needed to make changes to the electrical outlets in my living room and in my kitchen. This was fine but they made several repairs and then did not seal them back up. Therefore I had a major whole in my kichen along with deprie that was left on my counter top, which included nails. I called to report it and they said they were not done and were going to finish the next day (no note was left). I told them I understand there work but it was very unsanitary and dangerous. After they obviously did not come the next day I called and called and kept getting that they were going to fix it. It took a month for them to fix it only because I threatened to contact the Health Department and show my pictures when I did that they came immediatly. Onto the next problem they replaced the mailboxes so we had to get a brand new key but then a week later I guess they didnt do it right so I had to go get another one. Everytime i go to the office it takes a half hour just to turn in my rent and get a reciept it seems. In March the same apartment where I smelt the awful smell finally got vacated. After my new neighbors moved in I got roaches for about March to May I was calling the exterminator often which only comes on Thursdays but to me they come when they feel like it. From May to July the problem with the roaches seem to be controled and I thought they were gone. Its now August and I see one every now and then. Here is what drove me to the point where I'm done with this place. They came into my apt about two weeks ago to fix something in my living room for the renervations. I come home and my vent in my living room was not fully closed. I attempted to fix it myself but the srew would not go in. I called for them to fix it and got the same thing that they would come right away. I even stopped by right before I went on vacation to make sure they would fix it they assured me it would be done and have a great vacation. I came back from my four day vacation yesterday only to find that the bottom was completly undone and a mouse was in my apartment. I immediatly called the rental office for them to fix it and catch the mouse they said they cannot catch the mouse until thursday and someone will come seal the vent today. Well that was yesterday because I was so fruious I called and threated to call the health department again they immediatly sent someone over within five minuets to seal the vent. Unfortantly I had to catch the mouse myself I caught him and my vents sealed but what else is going to happen in the next four months' BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
