Good Service, Bad Tenants

Let's see... We have been living here for about 2 1/2 years and I can honestly say when we moved in, it was sheer bliss. Everything was neat and clean. The staff worked very hard to make sure that all hallways stayed clear of clutter, including children were not using the hallways for their own personal playgrounds. The parking lot was not too overcrowded with illegally parked cars and the presence of PG County police patrolling and utilizing the onsite Satellite Station made me feel at ease. The maintenance staff here is absolutely wonderful. They are on top of replacing and fixing things in the apartment including a hole we created when trying to move the furniture. Although, we may not have made the hole if the walls had any insulation. Which brings me to my complaint. THESE WALLS DO NOT HAVE ANY INSULATION. We live on the first floor so there is no reason why I should be able to hear my neighbor DOWNSTAIRS yelling at her babys father at 1:30 AM for having some other chics number in the cell phone. Her two children are allowed to run into the walls. Why can I hear them' I used to complain about my neighbors above because it seemed like they had a relay team who was responsible to move constantly thru the apartment which allowed me to hear every creak and footstep. They would argue and fight and slam doors and he would leave and come back and leave and come back. You get the point Everytime he threatened to leave, shed be in the hallway begging him not to leave this would be right after she threatened his livelihood..Then, they moved out. I was so happy until the newbie moved in. We just found out this woman (God Bless America) is in the military which would explain why it sounds like she is doing calisthenics at 4:30 in the morning for an hour and a half. I sleep hard, but not that hard. I eventually had to give in to her and started sleeping on the futon in the den the problem I am pregnant and it took no time at all before that became ineffective. Why arent my earplugs working' What are they good for' Why do I know where this woman is at all times' In the bathroom I heard water running down the walls. In the bedroom, why can I hear her opening her dresser drawers'' Oh, this is foolishness. I do not understand what the regulations were on noise when these apartments went up. And where are the regulations on capacity'''' The woman across the hall from me has FIVE children and they are bad as all be damned. I thought of this yesterday as one of the boys hung out of the bedroom window and then screamed for over an hour when his mother beat him I was in my house watching the news as this was happening. Why can I hear them''

We just found out after having our 2nd car vandalized (they just stole the first one) and creating a $500 tab to get it fixed, that the Police are not patrolling like they used to. I should have realized that when an attempted robbery occured at the gas station and the thief was shot and killed. I just get gas from other stations at this point. I received a nice song & dance on how they are trying to get them back, but its like a free for all in that parking lot. The idiots couldnt steal the truck, so they stole the tags and busted up all the locks (I guess they couldnt get the club off either, but that didnt deter them!) We have to kick out $500, but they got a three CDs and the little bit of change in the cup holder! Just what I needed when trying to go to work!

The rent is great because we get a discount & are one of the few tenants left with a washer and dryer!! But, when we move out, they are going to take it, subjecting all new residents to using the laundry rooms where you must pay to wash your clothes. I guess haivng utilities included is hitting hard with the water bill!!
