Inconsiderate neighbors and other stuff

I moved into Woodland Landing last summer, and at first it seemed like a great place. The area is very nice, surrounded by trees and the landscaping always looks great. They price is perfect, especially the fact that all utilities are included in the rent. However, there are quite a few things that are irritating.
*The walls are VERY thin. I can hear absolutely everything and anything from my neighbors upstairs. Whenever they get up, whenever they go to bed, even when they are just walking around in their apartment. Also, the building is indoors so therefore, anything you do in the building echos throughout the entire stairwell. And someone who lives dowsnstairs has like a million kids (or a bunch of kids with a bunch of friends) that just literally throw a ball against the walls and floor all day/night, so you hear nothing but an echoing ball all day.
*I understand that people have kids. I want kids someday too, but must they always play right in front of the door yelling and screaming and blaring their music and swearing' I'm not saying I'm a saint, but at least I know to respect that fact that even though it's summer vacation and you aren't in school, people still have to get up at 5am to go to work!
*The trash....people don't ever want to throw the trash in the dumpster, but rather all around the dumpster and the garbagemen won't pick that stuff up, so there are mounds of trash everywhere.
*The roaches. Within a week of moving into my apartment, I noticed I had roaches crawling around in my kitchen sink and dishwasher. And I know I couldn't have brought them in, none of my things had arrived from out of state yet. I called the rental office right away and they said it would be taken care of. Well, let me put it this way. I have had pest control at my apartment at least a dozen times, and I still have the roaches...they're not as bad now as they were, but they are still there.
The bottom line is that people are inconsiderate and don't understand that you are living in an apartment, not your own house. You do have neighbors that can hear almost everything that is going on in the building. Now like I said, I am not a saint. I have blasted my music a few times but not one person in the building ever asked me to turn it down. I have asked numerous times to almost all my neighbors to please keep it down and not once have they kept it down. I'm so glad my lease is up in two months! If you want peace and quiet, this is NOT a place for you to live!
