Well, hello all and renter beware to anyone looking to rent this place. My husband and I rented an apartment at this hell in 2001 to 2002. It all started off okay, but as soon as we got approved things went to crap. We were told a rental price of 1295 but by the time the security deposit, AMENITY fee(what amenities) and application fees were done we were told that the apt would be 1421 a month. We had a loft style apartment with a fire place(run by gas and bill always over 100 even when we didn't use the stupid thing)view of the pool(which you have to pay for)on the top floor(you pay for) and security washer and dryer. BASICALLY, you pay extra for ANYTHING nice in the apartment. So, anyway, we moved in and things were okay until............we had a neighbor who would play loud music and hit a broom against her ceiling anytime our child would walk across the floor.These apartments are VERY hollow so as soon as they knew we were awake they would start acting up. The management knew of our child but didnt care they wanted their money. We couldn't enjoy the pool because wannabe bad@$$es were constanly harassing you and the glass tabletops were always being broken along with the chairs at the pool. The SECURITY GATE that you pay for(in someway) is constanly broke and never works letting in whoever wants to break into your house or your car. You could never get a decent parking spot and parking is not assigned. There were many times when(coming home late from work) I had to park WAY away from my building and call my husband to watch me come home to make sure I made it okay. The management team (or what's left of them) never try to help you and they constantly have different people rotating in and out to run the place because once people realize how the place sucks and how many complaints they have, they quit. Don't get me wrong, nice apartment,just noone to help you and the people living there are horrible. You can go pay 850-900 at some other places and be living the same exact way as here. Oh and while we were living here there was a double homicide(shooting) and yes if you look it up you will find it. It happened by the pool which we have a NICE view of. Our car alone got broken into TWICE and nothing was done about that or the supposed security. I'm trying to remember if I have everything down, but there was SO much crap that went on I don't think I included it all,which is why I didn't even bother to pay the last months rent. Anyway, I would recommend that you run in the opposite direction if you even THINK about moving to this place. It is overpriced and not even worth the headache.
