Where do I begin' This place is a mess! I am a current resident who moved in February 2008 and besides the obvious the parking spaces are way too small, the alarms don't work in the apartments, the noise level is crazy! "don't try to get any sleep"! the hallways have not been "decently" cleaned since I have been here! the gates have been broken for the longest time! the front gate - you can come in it! but you ain't getting out of it! "I hope nobody is chasing you"! and let's not even talk about the staff in the office! Like I said, I have been her for 5 months and they have had 5 changes since I have been here! And I am not joking! Everytime I go in to pay my rent there is a "new" face! (not a good sign)

Now lets get to the major issues:

1. The day before I was due to move in, I was called at work by the the Leasing Office and told that the resident in the apartment that I was due to move in to had not vacated and that I was being moved to a different apartment that they had available. (BUT WHAT I WAS NOT TOLD)was that the price of the rent had increased by $110 a month!! This they tried to "sneak in" when I came in to sign the lease and discoved this on the paperwork! (I wasn't having it!)

2. On my very first night here, my neighbor has his tires and rims stolen off of his truck! right in front of our building! what makes it so bad is that the bricks remained in the spot where they stole his tires for about a week or two before maintenance even bothered to get them up! (just trifling!)

3. June 2008 another neighbor came outside to discover that his minivan had been stolen from in front of his building!

NOW KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS A "GATED COMMUNITY" WITH "POLICE OFFICERS" WHO "LIVE" HERE!! WHAT'''' ARE YOU SERIOUS'''

4. I have come home at night on several occasions only to see people sitting in parked cars in the dark looking like they are just ready to rob you! this is a safety concern especially if you work and come late at night by yoursely! (hope your packing! and not a lunch!)

Take my advise take your money somewhere where you will definitely get what you are paying for! This place is WAAAAYYYY overpriced!! nothings works in here they way that it is supposed to! and all that you get from the rental office is "we are in the process of fixing it! (every month'''')

Now they give you a beautiful presentation to get you up in here!! But it's when you get up in here...... that's when you will realize that you have been HAD!!!!! SO BEWARE!!! just ask any of the current residents why nobody stays longer than a year!! REAL TALK!!!

I was just there this past weekend visiting apartments and this is one that i didn't get a chance to see. After reading what you had to say.....(all i can say is thank you VERY MUCH !!!) Now is there any apartments their, in the BOWIE, LARGO, Luarel, area that you can recommend ? I'm relocating there, the job is in OXON Hill but i want luxury and security not NO BS that will make me loss my mind

I agree with this person when they say that the leasing office always tells you ""we are in the process of fixing it!". That seems to be their famous quote for every resident. You're lucky if they even answer the phone because they just sit in the office & let ring & when they do answer it, one of them seems to always have a very nasty attitude & acts as if you're disturbing her. They should not be getting away with this very rude & unprofessional behavior.

Everyone is 100% correct. I've been living here for two months and nothing works, every other day I find that something is broken in my apartment. The gates never work, I too, find people sitting in their cars late at night. I also find that no one patrols the area. After coming home from work, I actually saw a girl wait for the gate to open and got in her car and drove off. Obviously, she parks in our lot and walks to the train but DO NOT LIVE in the complex. I can't wait for my lease to be up. I'm not happy there at all.
