I've lived at Northampton for over 4 years and my experience has been very positive. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom deluxe apartment that is beautiful and spacious. It's EXACTLY like the model. Maintenance is very responsive and so is management. The rent is pricey but the ENTIRE AREA is pricey and all other apartments in the area charge more or about the same and have the same problems that we have at Northampton (in terms of crime). The crime rate is a community-wide problem that is not specific to Northampton. I have had my car vandalized once but that has happened to me in other areas as well. Management has taken several steps to correct the problems and I have seen a decrease in crime in past year. I have lived in this area all my life and this community is much better than many others in this area. I see that others have had bad experiences, but you will find mixed reviews no matter where you live. I intend to stay here until I purchase a home in the next couple of years.
