Anyone remotely thinking about moving to Northampton, move on. The space or your time isn't worth it. You can find better places, with more space, less money, more caring rental people and maintenance staff on the ball in Baltimore County.
My husband and I moved back to Northampton, thinking because the apartment is located in PG County, and the cost of rent is higher we would get more for our money. NOT. The rental office sucks! Maintenance sucks! Parking sucks! Both my husband and I called maintenance about the washer. It took almost a month for the washer to be fixed. Only then because my husband stopped the supervisor of maintenance. We were informed, no one at the rental office put a ticket in, so they had no idea our washer was broke. Another time I called maintenance for the closet. The shelf kept falling. I don't know if it's the terrible walls or maintenance just doesn't know what they are doing.
I advise beware of Northampton. You can do a whole lot better in Baltimore County. You can actually get walk in closets, a washer & dryer and maintenance people on the spot for less then 800.00/month.
