The neighborhood has experienced a steady decline over the years. The staff is less than helpful an knowledgeable. HOWEVER, if you need a decent place to stay over while building or are into the rent with equity program, this place isn't too bad. Well, at least the apartment. If you're going to stay, don't be swayed by this baloney of old buildings versus new. The concept of siding being better than brick is beyond me. The newer side is smaller, though it does have the roommate layout. The power has gone out once in 7 years and that's because the pole was hit directly. Not even through the area's worst hurricane did the old side lose power.
Like I said, don't plan for a long stay. It sucks way too much for that, but for a quick layover it's the best value in the area.

We're thinking about moving into the contemporary apartments and they say those apartments are bigger than the traditional. What is the square feet on a traditional? Please respond. I'll be checking back periodically.

Currently I stay in the traditional, and the traditional is way bigger in footage than the contemporary. The kitchen is bigger because you also have an area where you can either have an eat in table and what not. The bedrooms have 2 closets, one which is a walk-in and the other is also bigger. I have a one-bedroom.
I would go with the traditional style because of the space.
