Management -- I have never had a problem with them. In-fact I a have always been impressed on how they seem to know my name when they see me and also remember what building and apt I live in. the manager does seem kind of snooty but that is to be expected with someone in her position. The clubhouse is very nice looking but only open during office hours and the pool is very nice also but I have never used them. The fitness center has some very nice equipment in it.

Parking -- Parking is one of the best parts of the complex as long as you live off of the Garage, not all of the buildings are attached to the garage. the ones that are not attached have very limited spots but do have single car garages at the base of the buildings for rent by anyone. Visitors can park in any space they want unless it says reserved on it by the number. Any renter can reserve a parking spot for I think its $25 a month. The previous rating about the potholes in the roads was true but they finally put the final layer of asphalt down. it looks and drives great now.

Security -- The complex is considered a gated community with a key pass to enter the gates. but anyone from the street can walk into the complex unopposed or cars can just follow the car in front of them thru the gate. I see cars all the time just sitting by waiting for someone to use the key card just to follow you in. The gates also are not always functioning. Some times they are left open for days on end because they are broke or because it might snow so the plows need to get by them. I have seen some cars in the area with broken out windows and glass on the ground so I know it happened on premises. I have also had my vehicle stolen out of the complex once. I do not know of any others who have had theirs stolen. The Office staff did not seem to care that my car was stolen either. I think they could fix the problem by installing security cameras all around the complex and maybe have a security guard at the main gate to let cars in. I would even be willing to pay more a month for this feature.

Landscape -- For the most part its all pretty nice looking. Young trees planted all around and lots of flowers. The only problem I have are the drainage ponds around the complex. When ever it rains the water collects in these ponds and the water sits stagnate for days until the ground soaks it up or it evaporates. They are breeding grounds for mosquito's. Another positive is the community car wash. There is a car vacuum and spout for a garden hose, I think they supply the garden hose but I cant remember and 5 or 6 parking spaces to park and wash the car. The Dumpsters could be better done. Everyone attached to the parking garage has to walk all the way to the far edge of the complex to the trash compactor dump their trash. For me there is a closer dumpster that other buildings use but they policy of the complex is that if I use that one I will be fined a few hundred bucks. so that kind of sucks.

Apartments -- The Apartments are very very nice. I am sooo in love them. They have really high ceilings and countless electrical outlets. Huge windows are on every wall just about, but im also at the end of a building. but they windows are huge, very wide and very tall. They come with mini blinds on all. The windows also are double paned, and close very tight, I did have a problem once with water from a strong rain storm leaking thru the window seal but this is a new building, so as the building settles you are bound to get minor annoyances like this. I called the 24 hour call center to report the problem, although MX could not fix it for me, it had to be done by the contractor, it was done pretty quickly. Also about 4 months after moving in the sink kept backing up and over flowing all over the floor. This wasn't the fault of the complex but the lady above me who would wash all the left over rice and grits down the sink rather then dumping it the trash. After a while it would collect in the pipes and clog. The only other problem I had was being on the bottom floor we do have a huge problem with bugs. at first it was wide spread all over the apartment. then I got one of those sonic bug killers and put it by the front door and it killed most of the bugs just as they got in the door or just past the door. So I would recommend living on any floor other then the first.

Neighborhood -- The immediate area around the complex is not the nicest. The small strip mall across the street has hoodlums hanging around 24/7 I can only image what they are doing just standing their on the corner of the building watching everyone who walks or drives by. by the state of the area homes/town homes/apartments I would say it is barely a stage above the ghetto. the city has tried to plant new trees along the Harry S Truman Dr. but there is a new tree that is run over by a car just about every other day, not to mention the "welcome to Largo" sign that was mowed down. I don't know if its from drunk drivers, joy riders or just plain bad drivers. The area does have pretty good shopping around. Just down the street they just opened "Blvd at the Cap Center" it has some really nice stores and restaurants. And the Beltway is just around the corner. The complex is easily accessed from Exit 13 or 15a.

Well thanks for reading my report on the complex..... AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
