Rude Office Manager

I have lived in Truman Park for 2 years and the office staff is very forgetful and will deny they ever spoke with you or gave you any misleading information.
I recently moved after feeling like I was living in Chinatown.
The office manager is the rudest of them all and very hard to deal with.
For the price they charge for rent they should be a little more courteous to their tenants.
True the apts are nice and the garage is a plus but who wants to be surrounded by hundreds of neighbors who can't even speak english.

I really hope that the "User Response" dated 09/29/2006 is not employed by this apartment complex. The response almost gives readers that impression by defending certain actions of the complex. Strange, but it definitely makes a potential leasee wonder.

Excuse you, no I don't work for the complex!!! But I have been living at Truman since the apartment was built, and I have had no problems. What I said is true, if you have such a BIG problem with Truman Park, then go purchase a house!!!

I agree with butterfly187. People always have such negative things to say yet they are still living there. If its soooo bad they need to move out.

Who cares if all of your neighbors are of asian descent. As long as they don't steal from you, disturb you in the middle of the night with loud partying or music, and as long as they don't leave their garbage everywhere except for the garbage dumpster, then you shouldn't be concerned.
What a racist statement.

At first I was going to agree with you but the thing about the Asian residents was unnecessary. Honestly (and I'm black), I'd rather live with them than our people, they were nice, polite and quiet...the african americans I encountered in the building were loud, disruptive, blared music and the men felt the need to hit on me all the time. So while Truman Park sucks our international neighbors were a breath of fresh air for me.

I was a resident at Truman Park back in 2004, closer to when the apartments were first leasing... And I have to mirror what was said about the staff. Pretty rude sometimes... whenever you went into the office, you got the sense that you were "bothering" them or something... The living space was good, and I liked my neighbors... but just for dealing with the front office alone, I wouldn't recommend Truman Park to anyone (unless they've swtiched up their staff, which, from the sounds of things, probably hasn't happened).

I lived in TP from Sept 2003 to early 2005. I can tell you that everything people posted about the mgt is true. They lied and were extremely rude and unresponsive. People waited and followed you through the "security" gate--necessary when they weren't broken, which people did frequently. I now live in a great townhouse and would recommend that you get out!

I would like all of you to know that I finally bought a house! It was in October of 2009!!! I had to endure almost 2 more years until the bubble burst on the housing market!
I am so thankful that Truman Park Apartments did NOT go down on my rent. Had they done that I would of NEVER looked for another place to stay! By the time I left Truman Park Apartments, my rent had gone up to $1588 a month, two bedroom, 967 sq feet, no storage, no fireplace, no loft, little lizards coming under my sliding door and ants in my carpet who would come up ever so often to nibble on a dropped popcorn or cookie crumb.
I now pay $1063 a month for 1063 sq ft on TWO LEVELS!!! I am in heaven! AND my property taxes will go down this year, putting MOE MONEY in my pockets!!!
So all I can say is, THANK YOU TRUMAN PARK for constantly going up on my rent and keeping the trash bins over flowed!!! I had NO IDEA of what GOD had in store for me after giving you over $63,000 in a period of five years!!
I just needed to come back and report the good news!
