DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!

I got a job, and needed to move to Laurel in about 2 weeks. After searching a few apartment complexes in the area, AA was the only on that had immediate openings. That SHOULD have been the red flag...but I was a nieve 21 year old ready to start her new life in a new state! The second red flag should have been the vertical blinds. We were told that no apartment came with blinds for the sliding glass door. So, I went out and bought, over night, custom fit blinds. Upon arrival to the apt...we had blinds, and the office told us that they wouldn't remove the blinds, and they wouldn't reimburse me for the blinds that I bought. Everything started out nicely, and I was very impressed. There was a ton of room (even too much for the lack of furninture I had), and I was on the ground floor, so I had a little more room outside. Things went fine for a while, until the insects began to infest the apartment. I'm not talking about ants...I am talking about worms, centipeds, ants, spiders, and waterbugs. When maintanance was called, they told us that it was because we were on the ground floor...and they would be out in a few weeks to spray. Then it was the leaky ceiling. My roommate's closet leaked onto her clothes...some were ruined. The person above us had a leaky dishwasher, which of course leaked down our wall...whih had to be removed and fixed. The windows have AWEFUL seals on them, the hot and cold air (and bugs) came in. Then came MY mistake. I turned off the heat for my 2 week trip home over Christmas. When I came back, I had NO heat. The heat no longer worked....for the rest of the winter. And that was supposedly MY fault...granted I probably shouldn't have turned them OFF, but no one would come out to fix it. The maintanance people were nice, but could not fix anything right the fort time. The walls were very thin...I heard things that I don't need to hear...and have been woken up by loud radios and kids everywhere!!!!!
JUST DON'T GO THERE!
