I've read some of these reviews and I would have to disagree. I have been here almost two years and have never seen any mice, roaches, or other pests in my apartment. If a resident has these problems, maybe they should look at their hygiene habits because no one I know has a problem.
The parking lot is very well-lit, though I could do without people working on their cars (against apartment rules) while playing their stereos loudly (also against the rules). I don't know what these people are talking about with getting towed - I have a parking pass and I've never had a problem.
Maintenance problems are fixed usually within a day of them being reported.
The utitilites are included so I can do as much laundry as I want. My only complaint is that the machines are small but you get what you pay for! I know the upgraded apartments do have full sized machines.
If you have any problems, go to Eric. He's always happy to assist in any way. The manager who sits behind Latesha is pretty nasty and I prefer not to deal with her, so I don't, and thusly always have a pleasant experience.
The buildings are SOUND CONDITIONED and in an apartment silence really is golden. The buildings are nice and solid and it's very quiet.
I appreciate the criminal background check the office does on new residents; better safe than sorry.
The only thing I would change, is that they need to schedule the dumpster pickup more often. Sometimes the dumpster will sit full for days, and it doesn't help anyone when the garbage is piled up all around it. However, they do clean it up ona very regular basis.

I have been at Ashley for approximately 5 years and found that the sound conditioned apartment is better than one that is not. However, when you have residents who feel it is necessary to let the entire development hear their wonderful stereo then you no longer have peace. Parking is really not a problem, for anybody,resident or not, very few violators get towed as I have wittnessed many recurrent violations that go on and on and on. Maintainence for the most part is acceptable but could use improvement. Drafty front doors seem to be impossible to fix properly. Fix it quick, fix it CHEAP, seems to be a much followed rule. Some residents have been fortunate enough to see the installation of new windows and patio doors and windows. Lucky them,my row still has the old drafty ones. It seems throwing money out the window applies well here. While Ashley is better than most developments, it could still be BETTER.

Obviously the ratings with 5's and rated "YES" are only give by those that can't post an email or user name cause THEY ARE STAFF.
