Ashley Apartments

Not Recommended--Too many problems From: SpammyAccount11 Date posted: 4/23/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   This could be a nice complex, but there are too many problems that detract from it being even livable. The size of the apartments is really great (huge!). And, usually the views are very good. However, the crime in the area (domestic violence in the parking lot on multiple occasions, cars broken into, etc.), noise at all hours("hoodrats" was how another reviewer well captured it), and towing cars for no reason (*every day*) made the experience really pretty bad. Also, management had a very "sorry, I'd like to help you, but I can't" feel about them; this didn't feel genuine at all. Much more of a "bait and switch" feel to most interactions. There are fines threatened around many corners, and they won't back up their word, as has also been noted by other reviewers. It's a shame, because with a few minor fixes, Ashley could be a nice place to live. Not the way it is now, though; I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
