It LOOKS appealing at first....but DO NOT BE FOOLED!

I first thought this was a great place to live, but after my first year (probably before that, actually) I had a serious change of heart. The so called "masonry construction" turned out to be a joke. My neighbors above and next door are RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. I can hear alarm clocks going off, babys crying, and every footstep and pen drop. There are some kind of ladybugs taking over my kitchen, living & dining rooms--and don't think you're going to actually get in touch with the leasing office to report a problem. They rarely answer the phone and never call you back when you leave a message. The rent is really too high for what they're offering--especially when things around here barely work. PARKING IS REALLY HORRIBLE! You have to get home by 4pm to get a descent parking spot close to your building, and then you have some ignorant folk who purposely take up 2 spaces--particularly the SUV/Truck drivers--so you won't hit their vehicles. I've seen people race to get a parking space. I've seen people sit in their car and wait to back out and leave until people have parked all the way up the hill, so they can't take "their" spot. I've even had my car scratched and keyed because I "took" a spot that someone was coming out of--I guess I missed the memo when it was officially declared "their" parking spot. The lights in the parking lot don't always work and it gets VERY dark at night....safety concern. My biggest concerns would be the unprofessional attitudes of the leasing office staff....seems like there is always someone new in there anyway....and also the ghetto feel that this place is starting to have. In warm seasons, people are hanging out in the stairwells, making all kinds of noise and doing God knows what. I spent most of my summer indoors last year because of the group of teen boys that hung out in my stairwell. People drive into the parking lot all hours of the night, blasting music at the highest decible possible. I could go on and on, but I'd suggest living somewhere else.....DO NOT BE FOOLED!
