This place was the WORST apartment I have ever lived in. The walls are thin and falling apart with mold in the ceiling. They dont fix anything they just tape it up...literally. I had an electical outlet that was coming out of the wall and the scotch taped it. By the time I got out of there I had huge spiders and my ceiling was covered in mold. I tried to get them to fix it but they just painted over it. Our garbage disposal backed up and flooded the kitchen twice, it took them a month to fix our dryer, and my window was not put on properly and therefore had a huge space. Crime is bad and they tow your car as much as they can get away with. Even if its their mistake you still have to pay. DO NOT MOVE THERE!!

We actually have mold on our ceilings too, and I agree, they do just pain over it! I called them out not too long ago to look at this water mark and they reached up, touched it and said it's not even wet! That one little spot has now turned into a HUGE water spot and it looks like the ceiling is about to come crashing down. Sorry about their luck when it actually does bc they didn't do anything about it when I called the 1st time. Also, what is up with all the spots that come up from underneath the carpet?

If you believe you have mold (next time it happens) take a picture of the infected area and document when you first notice it. Call the maintanance hotline, they should give you a confirmation number. Note how long it takes for them to treat it. If you don't believe they did a proper job of inspecting, send a letter stating that you specifically think there is mold there. If they don't properly respond contact the Housing Authority and ask for the County Inspector, make an appointment for him to come out and inspect them, they will note it and send a warning to the property management. Also, since you said that the ceiling look like it was about to cave in, tell the housing people in addition to mold you believe there is a structural defect and your safety is in danger, ask for the department (after getting those other numbers) and get that subagency information too and contact them.
