I've lived in Avondale since 1997 when it was managed by Buzzuto Management company. It was wonderful. The quality of living was very good. The management of the building was immaculate; they paid attention to detail. The complimentary breakfast was always fresh and good quality. The level of professionalism shown by the front desk staff was high and very friendly.

Ever since Washington Realty Investment Trust (WRIT) bought the property and put its own management and staff in the building, it has significantly declined. The valet laundry and cleaning service no longer exist even though they still advertise that it does. The 24-hour maintenance is a joke. The professionalism of the front desk staff sucks! Which is a direct reflection of the management. The apartments are small for the amount of money you pay but when I first moved into the building, all of the other offerings were worth the price. The building is no longer well kept. The cherry wood that was put into the elevators is badly scratched up and has been that way for over a year.

This place is definitely not worth the money. The exercise room is a joke and severly lacking in quality. As year by year has gone by, I've been extremely disappointed by the decline in service and offerings by the management of this building. You better believe that by the time my lease is up.....I'll be OUT!
