I've lived here for almost 4 years and recently the manager who has been here longer than me was fired for reasons I don't know, but she was the reason I rented and honestly stayed for so long. She was a happy face to see when you came home from work. She was easy to talk to and was always willing to help you out. I won't be renewing my lease this year. Sharon is nice but the night desk man Clarence is mean and is always womanizing. Amy made it a home and I speak for a lot of resident's here and saying BIG MISTAKE for letting her go. She made us feel safe.

This is a JOKE review above. The Avondale is now a quiet and it shows. This review is a bunch of BS. Most residents are glad to see the prior manager gone. You can now go to the front office, and the new Manager is diligently working, always in the office, and the office area is quiet and a lot more efficient. It shows as you walk by. Whoever wrote this must be a buddy of the former manager. Amy did nothing but make this buildings reputation go down the drain. Maintenance is quicker now, and you can just feel the difference in the air. Thanks for coming to save the building Aaron.

The person who wrote this response to the comment must of been jealous of Amy or had some kind of issue with her. Amy was always nice and when she wasn't it was because someone was being rude to her I'm sure. I live in the building and when you say you speak for a lot of people then you are the one who is lying. Find something better to do then bad mouth people. God don't like ugly and you must live a very boring life if all you do is talk bad about good people. GROW UP

I left the Avondale shortly after Amy.Her departure was a sad event for me and many other residents. She was one of the most delightful,outgoing,competent professionals managers that i have met.I suspect the negative reviews on Amy were concocted by the current office staff out of pure evil or jealousy towards Amy(They wanted her position). Alot of long term residents left the Avondale right behind her,such as myself and the three other families that were monopolizing the elevators.For those of you who have berated her character on such a public venue as the internet, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!
