If you are looking for a nice, quiet apt., in a centrally located area..the Avondale should be considered. I have lived here for six months, and don't have any complaints. The area is up and growing, with many new restarants. Close to downtown Washington, DC.
The glass mirrors are a nice look as you enter the apts. The bathroom is bright and kitchens have nice storage space. The cabinets are high in the kitchen, and a step stool may be needed for shorter people.
I feel safe, and it's very quiet. You pay for what you get. Every maintenace request is fixed very timely. This is very important for me, b/c I have lived where the maintenance staff are sloppy, and lazy. You won't have that problem here.
The office staff is A-1, and I ask all single women looking for a place to call home stop in and check the gated apt. out.
