I lived in Bowling Brook apts for almost 9 months. I will start with the positive and move to the negative. Positive: Nice view from deck. Negative: Starting with the application process, ------ and ---- couldn't have messed this process up any more. Never returned phone calls, never knew what was going on. ------ is always so sweet when you first talk to her on the phone, but you will learn how much of an idiot and another word for a female dog she is. Our apartment was "secured" with our security deposit, but it was sold to someone else when we were ready to move in. I should have took the hint and gone somewhere else but thats another story. Then when we moved in finally after 50 different phone calls that should have only taken 1 to get things done, our apartment smelled horribly and had damages throughout. We scheduled maintenance to come out which did not happen for 2 months even though I complained every other day.

We spent Saturday and Sunday mornings covering our heads with pillows trying to get some sleep due to the delinquent juvenile hellions that run around and scream for hours early every morning. I heard every word of my neighbor below me when he was talking on his phone or arguing with his wife, etc.. And while I am on the subject of insulation.... My heat bill was ridiculous because of the drafty windows and doors that are as worthy as paper. You can feel a cold air draft blowing in from the doors and windows. And don't get me started on the heat that broke several times in the dead of winter. The "24 hour repair man" came to my unit and moved the thermostat knob all the way over and said "there that should work", and I asked him to look at the unit, which is in the closet outside and he replied, " I don't have a flashlight or a screwdriver". ENOGUH SAID!! thats your quality of repair on everything!!

I was charged a late fee, as so many others, when I proved to the front office that I had sent the check 12 days prior to the due date. This is the front office's way to get back at the complaining tenants. They threatened to report me to the credit agency if I didn't pay even after they admitted they should have received it but since they screwed it up, it was still my fault somehow..... I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY THESE PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS!!

Mold everywhere!! Neighbors beside us moved out due to health problems from the mold that the front office will not acknowledge, Which they just cover up with layers of paint.

The gym is a joke, I could get a better workout with a Richard Simmons Video.

Electronics, and appliances are all junk, they break constantly and will not get fixed for weeks if they break.

You will get to know your local law enforcement due to the criminal activity throughout the complex. Look forward to your room getting lit up at night from the police helicopter looking for the morons of Maryland running from the law every other night.

Our mailbox broke, the back panel was wide open exposing everyone s mail slot... The front office fixed this problem with duck tape to combat anyone from stealing mail or water damage. DUCK TAPE!! How stupid can you get!!

The carpet installed is the builders carpet for new homes that is for temporary purpose only, isle 15 Lowe's in Laurel.

Dogs barking everywhere even though I lived in a no dog area.

The plow man must have been on vacation this winter, or maybe he is just like everyone else that works for Bowling Broke Apartments, I mean Bowling Brook.

Finally.. the best day in the world came.. MOVE OUT DAY, We followed every move out process that is required by MD law and the front office once again won the gold for complete freaking idiots. No one was available for a final inspection, bills for hundreds of dollars that were outside the lease were made against me that were later dropped after threat of a law suit, no pro rate for moving out in the middle of the month, and I am currently in litigation to receiver my security deposit(no charges were made, they just haven't made any attempt to return it within the 45 days required by MD law). ------ keeps stating I will call you back.... hahahahahha the biggest joke of the front office.

Bottom line, If it is time for them to make their money, expect them to move swiftly, If you have any questions or issues with their horrible residence or service... good luck. You have a better chance winning the powerball than getting any customer service or quality of service from these baboons!! ------, ----, ------- want your money, not to hear your needs as a tenant.

I would rather move to a campsite in Iraq with no sun block then to move back in for free at Bowling Brook apartments. I am serious!! Skip Laurel all together, everyone in that city is rude, unintelligent, and lazy. If you must live in Maryland try looking out in the western area like Fredrick.

watchdog1 works at bowling brook apartments....as if you couldn't tell...and isn't it strange that someone posts a 5.0 review .....I don't know what Bowling Brook apartments they are talking about, but it certainly wasn't the one I lived at for nearly two years.

I loved your review...I felt like I had written it myself. Most of this happened to me, like maintenance not having the right tool to fix anything. My husband got so sick of hearing it that he got his tool box out for the guy and stood there and watched him fix it.
