I've been a resident for over 3 years. When I first moved in, the unit needed new carpet, appliances and windows (very drafty). I was told that these would be replaced after I moved out!'
PARKING = awful. on Thamesmeade rd there is no extra parking so you are forced to park across the street or in front of another building. We have a dumpster up at the top of the hill that is always overflowing AND many residents do not place trash in it when it's empty.
RESIDENTS = Many of the residents on Thamesmeade side of the complex are in thier early 20s with children. While not all are disruptive, 1 family in particular make enough noise for everyone. These folks also run a daycare out of the apartment. The children play, scream and cry outside till at least 11p nightly. I have gotten to know the childrens names from how much the mother yells at them. They are also allowed to play in the street without supervision. This could lead to an accident that no parent ever dreams of. I spoke to her 1 time and she told me that it was nice not to have a job and that the state pays for her. "All I need to do is have babies".
SAFETY = My car has been broken into twice.
STAFF = they respond only when called at least 4 times. ASK to speak to Debbie, the manager right away if you need anything. She is the only one in the office that seems to care. For the amount of money that you'll pay for rent, you'd expect better conditions. Don't let being across the street from Savage fool you. I was informed by a member of the staff that I should as the manger for a another unit across the complex. If you DO choose to live at Bowling Brook, request a unit as far away from Thamesmeade Rd as possible...like another complex.

Who is Debbie?? There ar no employees at Bowling Brook named Debbie.
