I've lived in Bowling Brook for about 4 years now. I live in a split master with a sunroom. The apartment layout is great. We have a lot of space. The neighborhood is nice as well. New neighbors just moved in that don't work, and tend to walk and jump all day. The major problem I have with this complex is MANAGMENT. I would say it maintenance but they can't do their jobs if they don't know you have a problem. I have had several leaks in the apartment. Whenever I need something fixed I'm always prepared to call the office at least 4 times before they even write a repair ticket. My rent has gone up the past 2 years for management and maintence purposes, but if you don't do your job how can you raise rent. I've talked to the property manager to request moving to a new apartment always given the run around. This is my last year here, my lease is up in April and I'm leaving! I no longer have a desire to pay rent to for an apartment that has water spots, and water damage from leaky pipes. I'm tired of taking time of from my job just to make sure things get fixed in the apartment. Did I mention we have no baseboards in the front of the apartment because of the last leak a year ago. I have called several times for months to get the baseboards replaced. I have spoken with N***** and J*** who seem to answer the phone but never write repair tickets! Just recently had another leak on Friday, maintence fixed the leak on Saturday. I was told I would have to wait until Monday for the carpet guy to take care of my soaked carpet in my closet and bedroom. It's Monday, instead of bringing fans and pulling up the carpet to dry and treat it for mold. They shampooed it. My carpet is still wet and it smells but it looks clean. So I will be calling the office again tomorrow morning. April can't get here fast enough! I'm not a bitter person, if Management were better I would stay here. Honestly, they do NOT do thier job at all!

I agree. My lease is up in a month and I also cannot WAIT to put the poor management at Bowling Brook behind me.

Watchdog1,
You make comments on every post that gives TRUE statements about Bowling Brook Apartments. I'm sure you work for the apartment complex. Why wouldn't you ask to remove the names instead of the whole post? Don't worry I removed the names but the post stays!! If they take it down I will keep posting every problem that I have had living in this apartment. I have proof and documents of everything that has gone on in the time I have resided in this apartment. My suggestion to you would be instead of trying to get post remove or discredit post...DO YOUR JOB!!!! By the way I have a split master and it does not have a full size washer and dryer. Thank you

Tiredofcalling I think your absoulutly right in thinking that. He or she seems to have tons of time on there hads trying to save face for a managment that needs to be fired. Okay now on to my horrers here. Well the J*** person that I guess we are not allowed to mention here name is probably the rudest person that I have ever met in my life. I once walked into the office and listened to her yellign at a resident. I have no idea what the conversation was about but I have a feeling that customer was probably in the right, and I don't always think that way. I theory behind yelling at people that pay your salary is that it will bite you in the butt and you will be on the unemployment list. Wait this will never happen at this peoperty because this has been going on for about 4 years to my understanding. Mr watchdog1 since we have all come to the conclusion that you are upper managment because we all know that the managment here is not smart enough to come on here and defend themselves, please listen to what is being said instead of trying to get every comment removed. You know I have spoken to the property managera coupel times and let me just say I was not impressed by her one bit. The women really should b e replaced with fresh blood. And as for maintance hmm well your need to get a maintance staff to start repairing the property. Also for the people that will be reading this in the future be extremely careful in choosing this place, we just recieved a outragious electrical bill. I am not talkign about a simple 200.00 or 300.00 bill, I am talkign about almost 800.00 for an apartment only a thousand square feet. If you have heat and desire the temperature to be comfortable cancel that and prepare to be frozen unless you can afford that every month. Now for the people that would like to live a tad bit cold you also will recieve bills that high because the heating units are always running and never stop, they are too small for the apartments. Oh and yes Mr watchdog1 I will be posting this anonomously to voice my freedom of speech rights that I have. Please read up on your internet laws a bit more before making yourself look foolish.
