I lived here for two years with my mom,and neither her nor I work for Bowling Brook apartments!
Our apartment was spacious and beautiful,overlooking a view to the pool.We never had a problem with any neighbors,most seemed nice or just kept to themselves.
Maintaince was adaquate and fixed things promptly.

The community was a very nice,safe place to live.A neighborhood for walking your dog or playing with your kids at the pool.
I dont see how crap holes like River front/Island or Storch woods fair better ratings then this place.They are cockroach infested and have druggies and bums living there.

Bowling Brook is by far the best choice for the savage area.


BGE bills are high EVERYWHERE people! Dont blame the apartment complex,blame BGE!

LOL- The only thing I agree with is the neighborhood being safe. I left Bowling Brook almost a year ago. My new apt is at least 250 sq ft bigger than the one I had there and my BGE bills are at least 75 dollars a month cheaper now. The high BGE bills were the fault of the complex. I complained about my apt being drafty all the time and they suggested I cover all my windows with plastic! All of my alliances had to be replaced and I have done the comparisons and had I read the reveiws first I would have never moved there.

You are missing the point, how can you have an opinion of something you know nothing about. You don't know what people have gone through in their apartments. Have you sat in your apartment in 80-90 degree weather with no air conditioning, I'm sure you have not. Have you sat in your apartment in 20-30 degree weather with no heat, I'm sure you have not. If you did, you would have a very different opinion of Bowling Brook apartments. Bugs and crime are not the only issues that make an apartment unbearable. Anyone posting or reading reviews here realize that a person can only give their opinion of the individual apartment they rented. If my experience with my individual apartment was bad, how can I honestly recommend an apartment to someone else? People coming to this site are here to post their experience with a particular apartment, if you didn't experience the same things, thats your business and you're free to post your story. Who are you to say someone is "trippin" if they choose to tell what they have encountered at an apartment they rented. You or your mother obviously work here. If you're paying twice the amount to BGE in a smaller apartment, you need to have BGE check your meters because you're still paying too much. As much as the rent is at Bowling Brook Apartments, they can afford to replace the windows. Coving windows with plastic only solves part of the problem, an efficient HVAC system does NOT run all day. They even admitted there was a problem but just refused to replace the system. I have lived in several apartments and not once have I put plastic on my windows and I've never had such an enormous BGE bill. I know BGE bills are high but why should I pay more to heat and cool an apartment then those with two story homes three times the size of my apartment. It doesn't add up. If Bowling Brook Apartments deserved a rating higher the 38% it would have a higher rating.

Alright,stop saying I work for this place.If YOU dont agree with what I've written,than that is YOUR business.I reworded my review since it obviously offended you. You've made your point about the cost and the windows.I wasnt disagreeing. I still would rather live there then River Front,Storch Woods or Howard Hills any day! That is my final word on the topic.That is my opinion,and I'm sticking to it.
