I am a new resident that just moved in on March. First of all, let me tell you how triflin the management are. Before I moved, I was NOT showned to my apartment until the day I moved. I kept asking management was my apartment ready. Their response was, not yet, almost. They told me not to worry, if there was somethin wrong they would've told me. I thought it was strange because I wanted to see what I was moving into. The day I moved I was not handed a lease, just only my keys and a magnet that sticks on the frigerator with there info on it. That was it! The day I moved, I notice all the sockets was not screwed on all the way. The electric switch box, the switch,to turn on the electric was removed. Anybody could've easily get hurt,electricuted if a child or adult stick there finger in the box. I reported to management and they was non chalant about the matter!
Two days later, while I was watching TV, my television started to smoke from the back. Before u know it, all my devices was making some kind of nosies. All devices was OFF at the time. I was hearing alot of ELECTRICITY through my walls, which had scared the livin day lights out of me! None of this shouldn't been goin on like this after I had moved in! I called the property management office and they new that they had electrical problems, before I moved in! The maintenance man they was checking out the problem said that! They finally called in KOLB Electric, to come in my apartment to take a look at the situation. While KOLB was fixing the problem, ALL of my electronics had ended up DEAD! My COMPUTER, TV'S, STEREO'S, ALARM CLOCKS, MICROWAVE, AND MORE, was COMPLETELY DEAD! What a way to start off my move! I was so devasted that I started to bust out in tears! I'm still fighting to try to get my items back and I heard not a dam thing from the property managers! If they cared about there clients, they would've done there best to give me my stuff back!
Property management calls me a month later, talking about trying to have their insurance person to contact me. There was NO ONE that contacted me. She finally tells me to send her a list of all my property that was damage, once again, I haven't heard from her after the fact! At first, when I told her about what had happened to my items, she tells me that, apartment insurance takes care of all of my items. How is that, when none of this was not my fault! I askes her about her bosses info, she refuses to give me information. I had done my research and ended up contacting the head person in charge of this property, it was like talking to a two year old that couldn't give no answers! If you really want to live comfortable and worry free, don't live here, it's a DISASTER! Even my neighbor is having electrical problems! He says, when he plugs up somethin the whole area shuts off! He has no choice, but to open the fuse box to turn back on the electric! How dangerous! U better believe it, that I have a lawyer that is gonna fight this case to get ALL my items back! It's not worth me paying, over twelve hundred dollars to live in distress!

Oh my goodness I will not move here. They are nasty!!! What goes around comes around. God will get them sweetie don't worry. You need to call 7 on your side and they need to be shut down!!!!!

Call 7 news immediately!!! Shut that complex down!!! Me and my boyfriend went through the same issue and my boyfriend's complex didn't wanna pay him for the damages and he got back MORE than he expected!!! Trust and believe, you will get your items back once when you come up with a dynamic lawyer! Don't give up! U better fight back and call 7 on your side. That's a must! They need to be expose big time!!! Goodluck!!!
