I keep my apartment very clean, and I'm on the top floor but for some reason a mouse decided to make a home for himself under my kitchen sink. He scratched and ripped up some paper towel and made a nice comfortable bed inside of an unused dust pan. When I finally discovered this there was mouse crap everywhere under the sink. I saw that he made a feast for himself in my drawer which held some chocolate candy and other goodies. I have cleaned out every cabinet and set 2 traps, but this mouse is very clever, he goes around the traps I set. I bet he's hungry but theres no food in his reach anymore unless he can climb the refrigerator. I spotted his path of travel through a gap in the left bottom corner of the kitchen counter, and an opening where the pipe is under the sink. I'm pretty sure there may some opening in the breakfast bar which goes over to the next apartment, but I m not sure. I haven't told the managers because I m moving soon, I will just let the next residents deal with it. I don't feel like waiting 2 month for someone to finally come take care of this issue. Did I mention that I hate this place' Especially the random electricity spikes that seem to happen at the worst moments. My favorite thing about these apartments is the architectural design, but the execution is very poor(squeaky floors, uneven doors and walls, and a very poor paint job. Overall, these apartments are quiet and comfortable.



*****update****** I caught his butt!! thanks to the old school mouse trap, don't trust those new ones, and use sharp cheddar.

I've lived here since Aug. 1997 when it was Summit Russett. Since Camden took over, it has gone downhill! The staff are extremely friendly and really try to do their best, but they have to follow Camden's rules. That being said, I am moving at the end of May! We have a different type of "crowd" that has moved in, the police are called at least once a month, there are more break-ins and yes....I had a mouse (bldg. 3407). He stayed for about a month and then I didn't see him anymore. Now I know what happened! Anyway, the apartments are nice, staff is great, but the way Camden manages (accept anybody and everybody, no matter what their character is) things is unacceptable. I liked it when it was Summit Russett.
