I have lived in Laurel for 5 years, and I have always been impressed with the Russett community. My current lease was about to end, so I started on the hunt for a new place. I looked at several apartments in Laurel, even the brand new ones. Ofcourse, the new ones are fancy and come with all types od amemities(that you WILL pay a hefty fee to use), but after weighing the options, Russett was the best. You get the benefit of the community(the parks, the "set aside" environment) and a very nice, spacious, clean, uniquely layed out apartment. We love the arches and colums in the apartments. Now I have read many comments on here, and I think that most of them relate to the older buildings, but no one talks about the newer side of Russett. I can only speak of my experiences, but I was very impressed with the leasing staff. The young lady I was dealing with was more than happy to deal with my questions/concerns, my "pickyness" LOL...she never acted as though I was bothering her. We decided to rent there, and I think its the best choice.
