I've lived here for 6 months. Seems everyone has a problem with Angela Spears and for some reason, I don't. She's always been nice to me & worked to help me with whatever I needed. I don't know why. When a garage opened up that I was interested in, she called me to let me know & give me first dibs on it. I saw one comment suggesting maybe Spears was prejudiced against white people but I'm white, so I don't know. ::shrug:: I can't say anything bad about any of the staff - office or maintenance staff. They've all been nice to me. True, the girls in the office dress very casual and I think they should dress better, but the service is still decent. I rarely go into the office and I'm not a trouble maker but yet, they all know me by name (hello Miss Smith!). Maintenance staff has always been nice, they've come out to do some work I requested, but not other work. The "other" work was simple cosmetic stuff that was no big deal - I fixed it myself. Parking can be tight, as with any apartment complex. I've seen worse.
Neighbors are noisy at times, as with any apartment building, but that's just inconsiderate people. You'll have that most places unless they have sound-proofing (which most don't). But it's all coming through the ceiling or walls - not outside in the common areas - so I just happen to have noisy neighbors.
Overall, I'd recommend this place to other people. My experience here has been fine. I've lived in apartments quite a bit, all across the U.S., and Camden Russett is better than average. Great shopping possibilities very close by. No bugs & I haven't seen any mice or rats.
Some things you have to remember when looking at an apartment - people will be people and they really don't care about anyone else. You'll have the noisy neighbors, you'll have door dings, and you'll have idiots throwing their trash wherever they feel like, because they think rules don't apply to them. That's apartment life. As for the apartment staff, everywhere I've been, I've never had a problem. Then again, I'm nice & courteous to them before they have a chance to judge me as a bad person. I mean, I don't know... everyone seems to have problems with the staff but for some reason, I don't. They always treat me nice & with respect.
