I've lived at Concord Park for 2 years and across the street for 1 year. The comparison from one to the other is significant. Concord offers much more for approximately the same rent. I have researched 40 apartments in the Metro area - up close and personal - and have even driven through several properties in the late evening to see what they were about. After a thorough tour of many many properties, there is no comparison. The property is extremely well maintained vs most of the other properties I looked at... the ammenities are amazing as well - again, by comparison to most available at other properties. The apartments themselves are large, beautiful, unique with spacious closets and gorgeous bathrooms. Go check out any of the competitive properties and find out for yourselves.... The problem at Concord Park is not the management - it's the trashy, irresponsible, disrepectful, arrogant tenants. It's takes the people at the office days into weeks to pick up, clean up, repair and replace those things that may appear unsightly or neglected here based on the behavior of those who reside here - not those who work here - only to find that in spite of their hard work to make this a wonderful place for the residents - the residents themselves trash it back up again immediately. If the garage is trashed, look to your neighbor. Who do you think picks up the soda cans, litter and trash carelessly left there' If the hallway carpets and walls are dirty or marred - look to your neighbor. If the noise level is too loud ... your neighbor is the problem. I have seen this property rise from a less than desirable place to live to a much better managed and controlled community. I see improvements, hallways being touched up (from the mars left by tenants moving in and out), and noisy neighbors reprimanded, expedient repairs made, etc etc etc since the new property manager has taken over. She's not here to be social and become anyone's best friend... she's here to recover this property (a huge task!!!!) and make it a safer and more comfortable place to live. She does just that (to the best of her ability... I'm sure there's an enormous level of frustration when those things that have been addressed and attended to are immediately undone by TENANTS living at this property! So... if you're unhappy about the conditions at Concord Park, speak to your neighbor. Go out and compare similiar properties, ammenities, size and cleanliness of other apartments... particularly the price... and then take a look at Concord Park with new eyes. Appreciate what you've got. It's the best in the area by far. PS I'm signing another year's lease.
