I've lived here for about 5 months, and I'm lovin it!

Parking

Sufficient garage parking (free for new tenants). It's compact and narrow, so safe and slow driving are must. Ample outside parking. I've seen people with their GPS on their dashboard, so either it's very safe or most are inviting criminals to break in. I have our local PD numbers saved on my cell, so I do not hesitate to report suspicious group of kids or cars on our property. I hope others do the same; problem solved.
UPDATE AS OF JULY 2009: I HAVEN'T NOTICED ANY SECURITY PROBLEMS. I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY VANDALISM NOR ANY CRIMES. HOWEVER, PEOPLE PARK THEIR CARS BY THE GARAGE LOBBY/MAIL ROOM, AND IT'S VERY DANGEROUS! I SAW A CAR ALMOST STRUCK A KID BECAUSE SOME JERK PARKED HIS/HER CAR AND BLOCKED THE VIEW OF THE DRIVER COMING INTO THE GARAGE, MOREOVER, THE MINOR (5-8YRS OLD) RAN ACROSS THE GARAGE PARKING LOT UNSUPERVISED BY ANYONE!

Noise:

I live on the top floor, so I can't say much about lower floors, but the top floor is great! I don't hear a thing from my neighbors or anyone in the hallway. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one living on this floor. It's so quiet that I can hear people from townhouses across the street!
Only noise I've noticed was from the parking gate. A lot of people drive in and out and I think the gate is little rusty, so it makes squeaky noises every time it opens and closes. Hopefully, the maintenance will fix that problem or I'll have to submit a work order. UPDATE: Wow, the gate is fixed! I feel like I'm living in a ghost town. Very very quiet

UPDATE JULY 2009: VERY VERY QUIET NEIGHBORS. A/C UNIT CAN BE LOUD, BUT IT VARIES, DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU SLEEP. OTHERWISE, VERY VERY QUIET..

Grounds

Very clean compared to size of the unit. No dogs are allowed, so so dog poop!
It's well maintained.

UPDATE JULY 2009: STILL VERY CLEAN AND NICE, THOUGH 1ST FLOOR STINKS LIKE GARBAGE.

Safety

It has a gate, so it keeps others from driving into the parking lot unless they have a remote key, but this property isn't fenced in, so anyone can walk in and out within the parking garage and the premises. However, the building itself is secured, so as long as you stay within the hallways, it's pretty safe.

Rooms

One of the best layout! Biggest Bedrooms and bathrooms! You can't find it this big with this price. I love the fact that this place has windows everywhere!

Maintenance

Very prompt! No complaints. yet.

Staff

They seemed very friendly, except for the property manager. My aunt is a property manager, so I understand why. I'd rather have manager who isn't afraid to vacate those that are a menace to the property. My leasing associate was great. He showed me several places and offered me with more than enough options. I finally settled on a 2B2B and very satisfied.

Fitness Center

Very nice and never crowded. I suggest bringing your own anti-bacterial wipes, if you're aware of staph. No wipes available.

UPDATE JULY 09: SWIMMING POOL IS AWESOME! NOT TOO DEEP, ONLY LIKE 5 1/2 FEET DEEP, BUT HUGE! ALMOST A HOTEL SIZE SWIMMING POOL. IT'S OPEN 10-8PM, AND NO ONE EVER SWIMS! ALSO, THEY HAVE A FULL TIME LIFEGUARD ON THE GROUND.

Lounge:
Free Coffee & tea machine is great! I've seen cookie crumbs, but no cookies, yet.


Overall

I've been here less than 2 weeks, so more to come in few months. So far so good

UPDATE JULY 09: I MAY ACTUALLY RENEW MY LEASE NEXT YEAR! I'D THOUGHT ABOUT PURCHASING A NEW HOME, BUT I REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE! I JUST HOPE THEY DON'T RAISE MY RENT TOO MUCH.

Oh, u haven't been there long enough...wait for the 16 car break-in, car's being left on bricks, and area criminals lurkin' due to lack of security (ohh I forgot about the flash light cop...)

Those things anonymous mentioned in the review are at EVERY apartment commuinty.....

The police information provided in this review is incorrect. The Laurel Police cover the Prince George's County of Laurel. However, the Anne Arundel County Police cover the Russett Community, where Conccord Park is located.
