I just moved in and i have not had any problems yet. The complex is old, just like the appliances but the hall ways and doors were just painted,and new carpet and light fixtures were installed. I have not heard any of my neighbors , i guess the concrete between the floors really help. The rent is high but everything is included and you get a washer and dryer in your apt. the fact that you don?t hear your neighbors is a big plus...parking is tight after 8pm you might have to park 10 parking spaces away from your building but the lot is well lit.
