Cross Creek

 

When I first moved to Cross Creek, I was delighted.

The property manager and maintenance was great.

Since the property manager left, all hell has broke out.

The new manager is never in her office and always has an excuse for everything as well as telling tenants business to other tenants.

In the past year the property has gone to hell.

There has been a new influx of residents who have brought with them, noise (children screaming in the halls/outside; crime (cars have all of a sudden been broken into; trash (litter in the parking lot, in front of buildings and in the hallways; bugs (never had roaches in my kitchen or bathroom); destruction (they are constantly breaking down the door to the laundry room so their people can hide/sleep in there; appliances (the laundry room washer/dryer is broke because they are always using them all day and night; partying (playing loud music in the apartment or from their cars in the parking lot.

Compliants have consistently been made to management but no one cares as long as residents pay their rent on time.

Of course they pay on time because there are a bunch of them living in one apartment to share the rent.

They think they have done nothing wrong and pretend they don't understand but there were no problems until they moved in.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not prejudice against a race I'm prejudice against people who disturb my peace of residence.

On another note: I'm also moving because during the who time I've been here there has been a leak in the apartment from the roof.

Management has it repaired/patched but are too cheap to just replace the roof.

My bathroom is has been repainted constantly only to find the the paint is oil based which causes stripes water drips and brown wax spots from the heat even when using the exhaust fan and showering with the door open.

The closet doors are always getting stuck and the walls are super thin (I could hear the person under me on the phone and I complained about this for years (3)(slamming doors, 4:30 loud alarm clock that buzzed for hours, loud stereo/tv, only to have management never do anything but give warnings and not evict...why, because rent was paid even sometimes late but it was paid.

The apartments are roomy, balconies are nice size, convienent to shopping areas, there is a washer/dryer in each unit but you have to create and some elaborate hook-up to use which means you can't use the kitchen sink or oven at the same time.

Plus, the dryer has to be pulled out in order to clean the exhaust and put water in the bucket.

So, the place is really not worth the rent anymore.

There is so MUCH MORE I could say but needless to say I'm moving at the end of my lease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And so are many of the other tenants who have been here longer.
