I moved here because it was a fair price for the apartment with all utilities included. For that I am very grateful. Here are the bad points:

I have had one upstairs neighbor evicted for loud parties, people coming and going, overall obnoxiousness. That took almost a year of complaints to become an actuality. There is NO insulation between the apartments. I can hear when my new upstairs neighbor's phone rings. He has no carpeting up there and once again, loud music with many visitors.

Kids in the neighborhood can be very rude and destructive. The maintenance staff is great about the quickness of repairs. Yes, the appliances are older, but I have had minimal problems. I do not recommend a groud floor apartment. Since the utilities are included, they decide when to switch from heat to air and vice versa. If you live on the ground floor, you can't sleep with the windows open to get some air in the stifling apartment. This definitely is not a plus point.

The office staff can be very rude unless you basically "kiss up" to them. Not my style. wish anyone luck here who is a professional who has to get up before 8 a.m. I had to buy a large fan (sounds like a tornado in my room) to drown out the noises from neighbors when sleeping.

Parking can be a nightmare if you come in past 8 p.m. Shift workers beware as I have had to park down around the block and walk back to my apartment. Not a safe thing in this neighborhood for a single female in the middle of the night.
