"We Kare", Humm, what idiot came up with that!...Deerfield Run has had the following in the past 4 months:

#1. The fire department should just live here. On our very first day of living here , we found ourselves rushing outside with our pets. What a way to start out a lease. The Out of Control Children upstairs set there Kitchen on fire! What a first impression!

#2. A med Student and his friend were gunned down while standing outside there apartment. One died and the other suffered brain damage. Deerfield Run makes absolutely NO EFFORT to enfore the "No Loitering Policy". They do not enfore to Parking Policy, and the only rule they care about and enforce is getting the rent ontime.

#3. They gave us grief when the water pressure shifted every second and you could not take a shower without getting burned.

#4. They enter your apartment AT WILL without proper notice or explination. They claim protection under the lease, totally disregarding the State and County laws protecting tenants from unannounced entry. The Notification Notes are pushed under doors addressed only to resident. The notice is much less that 24 hours. The explination for entering the appartment reads "Inspection per the corporate office" what the @&#! does that mean'. NO Respect for the Law and NO respect for Privacy, We do what we want and you can do nothing!

#5. The office staff are RUDE, UNCARING, and UNWILLING TO ADDRESS ISSUES. They do not like to write rent reciepts or do any work. They place you on hold and hope you will hang up. They will not follow the Law when complaints are made and you almost need to hire an attorney to get things done. The Lease is not followed the same for all residents. The Noise levels are not enforced AS PER THE LEASE. BBQ Grills line up all over, Shade Tree machanics have Oil, Parts, and Tools spread out everywhere without Office Enforcement.

#6 If you are late with rent they automatticlly try to SUE YOU. "We Kare" is a lie, lie, lie. They do not speak about the MODIFIED LEASE when you are considering renting at Deerfield Run. They charge a "Administrative Fee" of $200 when you move in and manage NOT TO SPEAK OF IT until you are signing the lease.

#7 We canot find parking if we arrive after 8: PM . No Security, No Nothing! You can be attacked while walking the EXTREME DISTANCE to your appartment.

The only thing KAY MANAGEMENT CARES ABOUT IS MONEY. Don't be fooled into thinking they care about you. We Kare, Yeah Sure!

I am a former employee of Kay Management and I do know the property manager of the community. My suggestion to many renters is: if you don't like apartment living, then buy a house. As an apartment community Professional, I know first hand the drama that tenants bring. We cannot control every single thing just like police, doctors, and lawyers, some things we prepare to handle but it is not always possible. Please remember that you are renting, the property belongs to the owners (our boss) and we do have a right to enter your apartment without a notice if it is an emergency. You do not own, you rent.

Freida Kissler is a very nasty person and so is MOST of the staff. Don't go to them if you have a problem, she doesn't return calls either.

In response to Versus..if it was that easy to be approved and buy a home..EVERYONE would do so! You please remember that we do not live here for free. Therefore, we do have a right to question the management/owners and to demand that things be done.

I don't think there is anything wrong with a apartment living. It's not my first time renting. You just expect a little more than crappy customer service when you're paying over $1500 rent.
