I really like the layout of my apartment (a one-bedroom). It's a pretty nice size for one person, and there's a great walk-in closet in the bedroom. It's a cute place with a nice brick wall in the dining room which adds a different flair to the whole place. Management has always been very nice to me and has always responded to any maintenance needs. The price of the apartments is great compared to all the other expensive places in the area. I haven't really had too many serious problems with neighbors. There are a lot of kids in my building and they love to pound their feet up and down the stairs in the hall, which is loud and annoying. But those are things you learn to expect and deal with in apartment living. My biggest complaints are bugs and parking. I have lived there for almost a year and have had to have exterminators come out for roaches at least 7 times. I'm pretty sure that's due to some rather dirty neighbors I have, whose critters are making their way to my place. Usually for a month or so after the exterminators come, the problem goes away. But after awhile, I'll start to see a bug here and there again. Again, it's most likely due to dirty neighbors, and unless they learn to be clean the problem will remain. Parking is ok...there are a limited number of guest spaces, so it would be pretty hard to have a lot of people over at one time. Also, the floors are incredibly uneven, especially in my living room. They slope downward in some places, so I had to make adjustments for my furniture (i.e. I had to put something under my bookshelf to level it out, because the floor slopes so badly, the shelf was leaning forward). But overall, I'm pretty satisfied.
