I moved here a little less than a year ago. I'm on the first floor and have seen just a handful of bugs (I do not like bugs or living in an environment with bugs), but they have suprisingly all been dead when I found them so I guess the extermination that they did when I first moved in was pretty good.
I believe that all units have alarm systems in them so all you have to do is get the system activated. I have not heard or seen anything in my 10 months of living here.
2 washers and 2 dryers for each bldg did not seem like enough when I first moved in either, but everyone in my bldg seems to get along and I've never had a problem with the washer or dryer being occupied when I needed to use it. Keep in mind that most of these items truly depend on your neighbors. I'm not sure if I lucked up or if every bldg is like mine

I have also found bugs in my apartment. I dont know if they are roaches because they are way bigger. When I first found one, I called the rental office to alert them - which I can say Lolita can be VERY rude sometimes. But it was 4:50 pm and I wanted someone to come in to take what I thought was a "cockroach" outside of my apartment, Lolita told me that it was 10 mins to 5 oclock and that no one could help me because the office was about to close. Trust me, I was not pleased my her response. But I have been here for about a year and a half and I have seen about 5 "cockroaches" and they have all been dead everytime I see them, except one time. It was alive and in my closet. I have also seen these bugs in the building hallways, so I can guarantee I'm not the only one who experiences this.
I hate the parking for my guests! My building is not close to the visitor parking lot, so I hate the fact that when its late, my visitors have to walk to their car or I drive them to their car. I think its a big inconvenience. I would hope in the future that they allow some spaces that are close to other buildings be available for visitors. Its just not fair for those buildings that are in the front when visitor parking is in the back.
Other than that, this is one of the quietest neighborhoods I have ever lived in. It's very safe too.
