I lived at Fox Rest years ago. I moved out of my apartment in August 2000. My main reason was because the previous management company sold the property to who ever is managing the property now. That was about 1999. From that point, things went down hill. There use to be certian sections of the complex for singles and married without children and sections for singles/married with children which was nice. Less noise for someone single like me. New management took over and it all changed. They would rent to apartments to just anyone. I had neighbors upstairs from me who had 3 kids (only ones in the buiding). She left them home alone late at night every night (ages 6 = daughter, 8 = son, 14 = son). She would bring home homeless men and let them stay at her house with her kids when she was not their. I had to hear the little girl screaming and crying all night (not sure what that was about). Her company would steal other peoples packages left at apartment doors. Management would not notify us when they needed to paint the hall. I came home one day and my front door was proped open, why' They decided to paint all the front doors that day. No one knew. Another thing, I had been living there for 6 years (1 bedroom). They decided they wanted to raise my rent like an extra $200.00. I fought them on that and told them first of all, for that amount of money my apartment would need to be painted, new carpet, new kitchen. I won. They only went up $20.00. Finally, I had to go. I have to say, its the management company that has brought this place that has made Fox Rest Apartments a living hell and not a good place to live anymore. If you don't have to, don't go there. It's not worth your life, safety or money.

did you ever hear of the Federal Fair Housing laws genius? You can't put someone in a building for all singles or all family's with children. It sounds more like the management company knew what they were doing and corrected a very bad situation long in the making!
