Decent for the price; some drawbacks

For the price you pay, these apartments are relatively decent as far as size and storage space. It's a plus that you pay for only electric. Maintenence is typically pretty quick to respond to issues.
Those pros aside, there are some things to be aware of regarding Fox Rest. Parking is pretty limited, and the walls and floors are super thin.
I'm on a top floor, but I can still hear the guy beneath me snore at night, hear his alarm go off in the morning, and hear when he *entertains* female guests. From my back bedroom, I can hear every little noise outside in the foyer.
Safety is also becoming an issue. I used to have good neighbors, and had no problems. In the last year, my good neighbors have been replaced with more questionable sorts, and even having a state police officer living in the building next door didn't stop my car from being broken into twice (once with the window smashed out), right in front of the building, in broad daylight.
It's worth taking a look here, you could definitely do worse in Laurel, just be aware of these problems before you sign anything.
