I have found the complex to be extremely well managed compared to other places I have. I have lived here for two years, and the staff has never once been rude to me. Maintainance is prompt, and the laundry service is a gift for any busy professional. I have never had any problems with insects or rodents. The neighbors are friendly and generally keep a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. There are no dogs allowed, so no barking or mess in the grass. The units are typical for garden-style apartmens.

Crime is an issue, but it's a general problem for the DC Metro - no matter where you live. If you're moving to the DC area, I suggest you get renter's insurance. At this complex the crime seems to be focused around theft, not violent crime.

For the price of rent, these apartments are great. My only real issue is with having no access to public transportation (especially after 6 pm).
