Decent place to call home

I have lived in Foxfire for about 2 years, and I have few complaints. I find the office staff is very efficient and friendly. Maintenance is decent. Most issues are resolved within a day at the latest. The kitchens are decent with updated appliances and cabinets in each apartment. Parking availability was great when we first moved in, but has since become less and less. But we are still able to get a spot somewhere infront of our building without having to like walk very far. The grounds are decently maintained. I do hear it when my neighbors turn on their shower, but its no big deal. My neighbors are mostly young, yet friendly, responsible, reasonable people. Foxfire is definitely the best that Contee has to offer this side of Route 1.
My dislikes would be the fact that the washers and dryers are not in the apartments, and the machines in the laundry facility are $1.50 to wash and $1.50 dry for a standard sized load... also, they raised the rent significantly since we moved in (over 10%), but we did go from a 12 month, to a 6 month, to month-to-month lease terms. I wish you could have small dogs. I wish the bath in the one br apt was not in the bedroom.
I would recommend if you live here, live close to the front of the complex or close to the leasing office. I know of instances where neighbors in the back of the complex have had break ins.
