Don't rent here

I agree with all the other reviews, this is not the place to rent. The management staff is more interested in selling apartment rentals to new people than they are in serviceing their current customers. Isn't it cheaper to keep a customer than to find a new one' The staff is not very friendly to current residents only if you come in for renting. The office is only open during regular office hours. The leasing office is open on saturday but that is only for people who want to rent there, as if anyone would want to. I should have know when we moved from 5 states away to move in, they did not have the apartment they had promised us available. The secodn month we lived there they intorduced some account numbers to use wehn paying rent. They gave us the wrong account number. We paid rent on time with the account number they gave us and our address on the check, however the first business day after the 1st of the month there was an eviction notice on our door. And we got a letter from their legal firm that we were being sued for failure to pay rent. Just a class act all the way through. (Sarcasm if you couldn't tell)
Maintenance is ok, if we had bad problems like no heat int he winter they are very responsive. However for some stuff that we call in, minor stuff, we never get a response. We had water leak into our second bedroom from the ceiling. The interior ceiling in the stairwell collapsed after/during a rain storm, and now water leaks into the stairwell during rain storms and tink up the stairwell. We have also had our water shut off during daytime about 12 times within the last year, but they only give you 24 hour notice. Which indicates that it is not an emergency but rather something planned because it is off so often but they don't bother to give proper notification. Our bath tub drain clogs every 6-8 weeks. The kitchen sink has also gotten clogged several times. Lastly the air conditioner is very uneffective and inefficient. During the summer it is not able to keep the temerature down to the set temerature which we have set at a high level of around 78 degrees. We also had lots of problems with the electrical wiring in our apartment, as well as with the phone lines. For a while every time a rain storm passed through we lost our dialtone on the phone and it usually took on 3-4 days to get it back again.
Noise is a serious problem. There are lots of people who drive down the parking lot thumping the base in the middle of the night and set of car alarms. There are at least 2 alarms that go off every night that we can hear. The floor creaks and is thin so we hear our neighbors.
Parking is no problem, except for the upkeep of the asphalt, there are huge potholes that they tried to fix last fall with temporary cold mix asphalt but now they are back and larger. Lots of Asphalt patches in parking lot.
We have a depression in the kitchen floor, and the laminated tile is peeling off the floor in places. Some of the nails holding the floor down have come up and can hurt if you step on them wrong.
Also way too many just hanging our teenagers drinking beer and smoking.
Overall - Find a better place to rent from!!!
It might look ok when they show you around and the service might seem nice, but know that it is a dump, you can do better.
