I have lived in Laurel Square for 2 1/2 years and I am in the process of looking for a new place. At first I had no problems...there was alot of police present...it was an all around good place to live. Next thing I know these young boys started breaking into cars all around the complex. Everyone in my building that had a nice radio system had their car broken into. Cars are being broken into every night...it has gotten so bad that the police don't even come out anymore (they take the report over the phone).If you think it is a game call the police station or look at the Laurel Leader paper and see how many break ins and auto thefts we have around Laurel Square (it goes by street names.)
They broken into my car and I called the rental office to them about the on going problem and the property manager Kennard had the nerve to say "Oh they got you too". What is that saying about the saftey in Laurel Square. Mr. Kennard, property manager, knows whats going on but does nothing about it...he is to worried about make the landscape look pretty. They also have peepin toms and they have boys and girls sitting out front of your building selling drugs.And the children around their think THEY ARE GROWN AND CAN'T STAND IT. They are about 20 deep everyday you come home from work.
Laurel Square has everything you want in a apartment but ask yourself why they are offering this apartments at such a low prices. No apartment complex offer specials every month. The community is terrible and dangerous. STAY AWAY PLEASE!!!! NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN.
